Founded in 1976 as the national carrier of the newly established Lao PDR.
With the arrival of the A320, Lao Airlines is moving into a new phase of its
development, offering passengers a faster, more comfortable link to the world.
The aircraft will fly primarily on international services to Bangkok, Hanoi,
Kunming, Guangzhou, Seoul, Busan and Singapore.
Today the Lao Airlines network extends to twelve international destinations
and six locations within the Lao PDR.

Economy Class: Maximum weight allowance is 20 Kg (44lb) for adult and child and
10kg (22lb) for infant.
Business Class: Maximum weight allowance is 30kg (66lb) for adult and child and
10kg (22lb) for infant.
Carry-On Baggage
Each passenger can carry on board a free baggage allowance: one piece for Economy
class passengers. Each piece has a maximum weight of 7kg and the sum of three
dimensions shall not exceed 115 cm (30 cm x 60 cm x 18 cm) or (12 x 24 x 7 inches).
