Internal Shuttle Service
The Israel Airports Authority runs a free shuttle service
in Ben Gurion airport. The service is operated by a concession-holder,
in spacious buses that can accommodate the passengers and
their luggage.
The buses are outfitted to suit assisted passengers, according
to Ministry of Transport regulations.
Shuttle Frequency
Every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, all week.
Location of Shuttle Stop in Terminal 3
The Terminal 3 shuttle stop is on Level B of the multi-level
road, between entrance gates 21 and 23.
Shuttle Route
The Shuttle runs from the long-term parking lot to Terminal
3 and back.
When there are domestic flights at Terminal 2, the shuttle
runs through Terminal 2 as well.
Public Transportation
Public transportation services are located in the three-storey
bridge on the second floor, next to Gates 21 and 23.
Egged Bus Lines :
The Egged bus lines listed below stop at Airport City and
do not pass through Ben-Gurion Airport: 249, 423, 475, 943
and 947.
Egged line 5 serves as an internal transport line from Airport
City to Ben-Gurion Airport and back.
Taxi Passengers
The Taxi companies at Ben Gurion Airport operate under supervision
of the Israel Airports Authority.
The Taxi Stations and dispatcher's counter at Terminal 3 are
located on Level G of the Multi Level Road.
It is recommended not to use random Taxi services.
Airport services & facilities
Biometric Security Check
In order to improve the service to the passengers at Ben
Gurion Airport, the Airports Authority operates a border control
service using a biometric system.
This fast lane passport control is done by means of a biometric
reading of the back of the hand. In this process, approved
by the Ministry of the Interior, the passenger's passport
is not stamped and the crossing will be carried out at unmanned
stations
The advantages of the method are in the improvement of the
service to the passenger, by shortening the time required
to wait for border control.
Passengers interested in benefiting from this unique service
at BGA, are required to comply with the following requirements:
1. Be in possession of an Israeli identity card.
2. Be in possession of a valid passport.
3. Be 18 years of age or older.
The registration for this service is carried out at a counter
located in the Departures Hall.
Information Counter
The information is at your disposal 24 hours a day. The
stewards will be happy to provide information and assist in
any matter related to the Airport and its services. The Information
counters are located in the Check-In Hall of the Landside
Building, opposite Entrance 32, in the Rotunda in the Airside
Building, and in the Greeters' Hall, opposite Entrance 03.
Main Medical Clinic (First Aid)
Nature of the service - The medical clinic operating at
Ben Gurion Airport provides first aid services only. Passengers
requiring medication for the trip or for their stay abroad
are requested to obtain the required medications in advance,
and use the duty pharmacy in their area of residence as required.The
list of pharmacies on duty is available in the daily press,
usually in the last section of the paper.
The Ben Gurion Airport medical clinic is located next to entrance
21 on the second floor at the western gallery above the Greeters
Hall Gallery. In an emergency, and in order to summon medical
assistance, please approach the Information Counters or any
Airport employee.
Hours of activity - The main medical clinic is open 24 hours
a day.
Police Station Ben Gurion Airport District
The police station is located in terminal 1.
The front station is located on the first floor at the western
gallery above the Greeters Hall in terminal 3.
The station provides police services for the citizen, complains
submission, patrol and keeping the order.
Additionally, Ben Gurion Airport district provides border
control services for Arriving and Departing passengers.
Post Office at the Square
To your convenience, even in the last minute in the country
(and right in the very first minute of your arrival) you can
enjoy Ben Gurion Airport mail services, as following: sending
and receiving faxes, collecting calls, package delivery, bills'
payment etc.
"Aviv" Baggage
Repair and replacement of baggage damaged during the flight
and baggage sale.
Location:
The Counter at the Arrival Hall.
The Lost And Found and Baggage Storage at the Western Short-Term
Parking Lot (Kerem) on the Ground Floor (G).
Disabled Passenger Service
Terminal 3 was designed so as to enable disabled passengers
to enjoy all the airport's services under their own steam
and in person.
Likewise, special facilities were adapted for the use of disabled
passengers, such as wide and accessorized toilet stalls, lowered
telephones and drinking fountains.
In any case where assistance is required, please notify the
airline in advance in accordance with the regulations of the
various airlines.
Mother and Child Room
The Mother and Child Room operates 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week, all year round and in accordance with the flight schedule,
in order to provide service to mothers and fathers with babies
and / or small children.
The toy store concession holder is responsible for the operation
of the Mother and Child Room, as a service for passengers,
at no charge.
Services that will be provided at no charge:
- Diapering stands
- Place for feeding and breast feeding
- Facilities for warming up baby formula.
- Use of a baby cot and suitable furniture in the room.
- Various toys suitable for thechildren of various ages
using the room.
Outbound passengers - mothers and fathers with babies and
/ or small children.
Porter Service
Arriving Passengers may order a porter service in order to
unload their
luggage from the conveyor and carry it outside of the Terminal.
You may order the service at the service counter, located
at the entrance to the Arrival Hall, after the Passport Control
(near the Self-service trolleys).
