Getting from Airport to City
Ground Transport Centre
A Ground Transport Centre (GTC) is available at the Arrival
Hall of both Terminals. The various ground transportation
services such as Limousine Services, Airport Shuttle Service,
Car Rental Services and Qantas Holidays can be found in the
GTC. Visitors may approach the various
Airport Shuttle Service
A 6-seater MaxiCab is used for this 2-way service which goes
to any hotels in Singapore and anywhere within the Central
Business District, excluding Changi Village hotel and hotels
on Sentosa Island. You need to make booking at the counters
in the Arrival Hall and pay the fare in cash at the counter.
Return journeys to the airport can be arranged at the following
designated hotels.

- Other Destinations - S$35.00 to book whole MaxiCab

- Leaves Every 30 minutes from 0600 to 1800 hours.

Limousine Taxis
Alternatively, you may choose to hop on a Mercedes Taxi or
London Cab available at the Limousine Service Counter at the
Arrival Hall. This service is available for 24 hours daily,
and brings you to any destination in Singapore at a flat rate.
Advance bookings can be made with a minimal booking charge.

Car Rentals
If you prefer to drive, do visit our Car Rental Counters
located at the Ground Transport Centre in the Arrival Meeting
Halls of both terminals. To cater for the ERP (Electronic
Road Pricing) in Singapore, you will need to purchase a cash
card from the car rental company if you do not already have
one.
Electronic Road Pricing (ERP)
The Electronic Road Pricing system is operational if you are
entering the East Coast Parkway, Pan Island Expressway, Ayer
Rajah Expressway, Outer Ring Road, Dunearn Road and Central
Expressway, between 7.30am to 9.30am on weekdays. ERP is also
applicable when one enters the Central Business District on
weekdays, from 7.30am to 7.00pm and on Saturdays, from 12pm
- 8.00pm. For this, you will need a cash card which you can
purchase from your car rental company.
Public Buses
Budget rides to the city and other parts of the island can
be made on either the bus or SMRT (Singapore Mass Rapid Transit)
services. Bus terminals are located at the basement of Terminals
1 and 2. Information on bus services is available near the
bus stands. Please prepare the exact fare for buses as no
change will be given. You can obtain change from the Money
Changers in the Arrival Halls of both terminals.

Note: Bus No. 36 which goes to the city, ends at 12 am
Taxis / Cabs
You can catch a taxi to any destination at the taxi stands
at the Arrival Hall. This service is available 24 hours daily,
and advance bookings can be made with taxi companies with
a minimal booking charge. An Electronic Road Pricing (ERP)
system is operational on major expressways and within the
Central Business District area to ensure smooth traffic during
peak hours. So you may be required to pay a surcharge if applicable.
Trains (MRT)
Budget rides to the city and other parts of the island can
be made on the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) services.
The MRT station is located in Terminal 2 and is also accessible
via the Skytrain from Terminal 1. It takes about 27 minutes
to reach the city. You would have to switch trains at EW4
- Tanah Merah MRT Station to get downtown.

POSTAL AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
All local calls made within the Transit Malls are FREE, overseas
phone calls, however, are chargeable through overseas phone
cards.
Budget phone call booths provided by MediaRing have been set
up should you wish to make budget calls overseas. Simply pay
a deposit of S$3.00 to the counter and you will be allocated
a booth. After the call is completed, any unused deposit will
be refunded to you. If you make calls exceeding the deposit,
however, you would have to pay the remaining cost. These Budget
